IMB 3.0 Service in 10 Sub-Districts Trialled

Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Dept., tested the Building Permit (IMB) 3.0 service in 10 sub-districts. By so, the IMB proposal can be processed within three hours.

Jakarta PMPTSP Dept. Head, Edy Junaedi said, 10 sub-district's PTSPs tested are Ciracas, Cipayung, Cengkareng, Kalideres, Kembangan, Kembangan, Jagakarsa, Kebayoran Baru, Tebet, Menteng and Kelapa Gading.

"Principles of public service delivery, one of which is speed, convenience and affordability," he expressed, Wednesday (8/2).

He disclosed, there are some requirements that must be met to access the service. Among them are it only applies to the direct applicant (cannot be represented), except it has a familial relationship indicated by the same home address and photo copy of ID card or Family Card.

Additionally, the applicant must already have land certificate on his/her own name, the land must have certificate, and IMB 3.0 service is only valid for the designation of dwelling house.

Then it applies to land width below 200 square meters and building width below 200 square meters, building with 1-2 floors, building design must be template or design options already provided, conditional or limited in accordance with Bylaw No. 1/2014.

Yet it does not apply to the applications living in green zone, land still being developed, on the roadside or alley that is difficult to be reached, rented house with several doors or dorm. 

It cannot also be applied if there is land dispute or dual ownership, as well as location map differences with operational maps, thus requiring operational map changes first.
